Hi- if you are looking for a fab portrait artist, dont go to anyone else except Mary Jane Ansell. I commissioned a painting for my partner (now my husband!) for his 50th birthday six years ago and it still takes centre stage in our house. I posted a message on here 19 May 08 saying one day I would own one of your pieces... and as of Tuesday I now do! I bought The Everthere from Fairfax gallery in TW and absolutely love it! It sits so well into my house as though it really belongs.
Is it possible for you to drop me a line letting me know your thoughts behind the painting, the models name and any details you may feel I would be able to rant about to my friends when they come over? I would be very grateful, oh and I will send you a picture of the painting in pride of place!
