This personalized mentoring option allows students to get expert guidance on any aspect of developing their artistic career. From overcoming the creative issues we all face, breaking through barriers in your work, practical studio set ups to focussing on the range of methods I employ in my own work, including technical oil painting skills. We can also look at ideas generation, commissions, working with models, galleries and collectors, shipping and pricing your work, social media and promotion, completing a special project, or any other topic a student needs support with. It's ideal for those artists with more experience or just want to get insights from an experienced artist on how to overcome a broader range of challenges.

For practicing and intermediary artists looking to hone their technique and further develop their own artistic voice, I offer personalized one-on-one painting guidance. This option allows me to work closely with a student through the entire process of creating a painting, from initial concept to final completion. I provide coaching and feedback tailored specifically to their needs, while encouraging them to explore their own creative style. My goal is to share insights that help students overcome any issues they encounter, while empowering their individual artistic development. This focused approach helps build confidence for artists seeking to fully realize their potential through hands-on creation of a finished painting.

When possible I also offer immersive in-person painting workshops held in inspirational locations. These intensive learning retreats allow a small group to work alongside me, picking up hands-on painting techniques while enjoying scenic surroundings.
